Hello Camping, Goodbye WiFi

We are going on a camping today.

Everything is ready. The red truck is full of stuff.

Up north at the Mogollon Rim in Arizona is the place to go.
The Rim country embraces 50-mile radius around the town of Payson.

Payson is 90 miles northeast of Phoenix.

It has an elevation of 5,000 feet and with thick forests.

Thousand of beautiful green pine trees.

This is the gateway to the mountains of Mogollon Rim.

Up there at the camping site there’s no service.

So, goodbye WiFi tonight.

My girls were asking me, “what would we do”?

It’s their first time to go camping in the wilderness.

But the Bear Camp on the Labor Day Weekend is a family event.

There will be many activities like fishing, creek exploring and games.

There’s a craft tent also for the kids.

The organizers, Amber and Cory, have this going on for its 5th year now.
It was my first time to join the group last year.
